In 2024 after an extensive period of consultation and research, six of our council members came together to form Goulburn Murray Solar Savers, a local government initiative for residents and business of council partners.
The program offers a fully vetted provider and installer of solar PV, battery systems, hot water heat pumps and
efficient reverse cycle heating and cooling systems, with induction cooktops, EV chargers, insulation, draft proofing and home energy assessments being added in 2025
