Carole Hammond is the Executive Officer of GMCA.
Carole has worked and researched extensively within sustainability and climate change, with Masters degrees in heritage, environment and urban planning. She has many decades of experience within the Victorian local government sector.
Outside GMCA, Carole contributes to Landcare, and conservation management, and sits on the board of Water Stewardship Asia Pacific.
Simon Blackwell is the GMCA ESD Advisor for the Sustainable Subdivisions Framework. He is a passionate urbanist with broad experience across urban design, planning and sustainable development. 
Simon has over a decade’s experience in both the public and private sectors, within Australia and abroad, with a focus on the creation of liveable and sustainable communities. His studies include an undergraduate degree in Sustainable Development and a Masters of Urban Design and he has recently completed formal training in Regenerative Development.
David Meiklejohn is a sustainability and local government professional with more than 25 year’s experience. His work has included the development and delivery of behaviour change projects  for governments, private companies and non-government organisations in Australia, the UK and New Zealand. Recently, he was the Executive Officer of the Northern Alliance for Greenhouse Action, managing a network of nine northern metropolitan Melbourne councils responding to climate change.
 
David has also completed a Ph.D. researching how Australian local governments engage their communities to respond to climate change.
