The GMCA is an unincorporated Committee auspiced by Murrindindi Shire Council until 2025. Murrindindi Shire Council has also agreed to continue the auspice arrangement until 2029. The General Member's elect a Chair and Deputy Chair each year at the AGM, as well as filling vacancies on the Executive Committee.

- engage with colleagues to apply an holistic viewpoint to the GMCA
